Verses to a Manx man made of inspiration

The room with the winds of inspiration is filled
Paintings, poems, and songs
In wonderful harmony together live.

Music is in the air flying
Together with a voice
Deeply feeling the words in the song
And two thick hands tenderly caressing the chords
of a brown old guitar.

The man with blue eyes covered in glass
And a face covered with a dense white beard
Is made of inspiration and nothing else
And is pouring his emotions in paper and silk.

The man with musical hands
Brushing them through the cat’s fur
as she purrs in great delight
as if saying “I love you too”

the man made of inspiration
fills all hearts with content
and a flood of imagination
because he is a character too.

He is named as the symbol in his flag
And does not seem to see
How inspiring he is
Why does he not look within himself?

Thanks for leading me through
your childhood memories
and showing me

the treasures of your heart
